Strategic consulting for owner-operators.
Project-based consulting in government procurement, QSR operations, financial modelling, and fractional operations support. Built for businesses that need senior strategic firepower — without the retainer creep.
Senior strategic input, scoped to a decision.
Most owner-operators don’t need a permanent executive hire or an open-ended retainer. They need a senior partner to size a specific decision — a bid, an expansion, an acquisition, a model — and then get out of the way.
Advisory engagements are project-based and clearly scoped. You get the strategic firepower when you need it, priced to the problem — not the calendar.
Five practices. Project-based.
Government Procurement & Bid Strategy
Position your business to win municipal, provincial, and federal contracts. RFP and RFSQ response strategy, vendor registration, compliance documentation, bid writing, MEAP and CSBFL navigation. We help SMBs compete for the contracts they’d otherwise never bid on.
QSR Operations & Unit Economics
For quick-service restaurant operators: labor scheduling models, food cost management, brand positioning, marketing systems, and multi-location expansion playbooks. Built around the metrics that actually move QSR profitability — not generic restaurant consulting.
SMB Financial Modelling
Lender-ready business plans, acquisition analysis, expansion modelling, pricing strategy, partnership structures. For owner-operators who need a senior strategic partner to size a decision — without hiring a fractional CFO.
Fractional Operations
Recurring strategic partnership for owner-operators who need ongoing senior input without a full executive hire. Monthly engagements covering operations, strategy, financial review, and decision support. The right fit when you’ve outgrown ‘figuring it out alone’ but aren’t ready for a COO.
M&A Support
Buy-side and sell-side support for small business acquisitions. Target identification, financial modelling, due diligence, deal structuring, asset purchase agreements, and post-close integration planning. For business owners exploring acquisition or exit.
Scoped to the decision in front of you.
Discovery
A focused conversation about the decision, deadline, and what’s at stake. We’ll tell you honestly whether this is an engagement we should take.
Scoped Engagement
A clear statement of work with deliverables, timeline, and fixed project fee. Project-based by default — recurring only when fractional support is the genuine fit.
The Work
Modelling, bid writing, due diligence, or operating analysis — done by a senior practitioner, with you in the loop at decision points, not buried in status decks.
Handover
You leave with a decision, a model, or a submitted bid — and the reasoning to defend it. No dependency engineered into the relationship.
Strategic firepower without the retainer creep.
Project-based by default — clear scope, fixed fee, defined deliverables. No retainer creep.
Senior practitioners on the work — not junior staff billed at senior rates.
Specialist depth in procurement, QSR, financial modelling, and M&A — not generic consulting.
Honest fit — we’d rather pass than take an engagement that won’t pay for itself.
Backed by a Group — pair advisory with a Studio site or Systems automation when execution follows strategy.

Common questions.
Is Advisory a retainer or project-based?
Project-based by default — a clear statement of work, fixed fee, and defined deliverables. We only move to recurring engagements when fractional operations support is the genuine fit, never as a way to extend billing.
How is pricing determined?
A fixed project fee scoped to the decision and deliverables, agreed before work begins. No hourly billing and no open-ended estimates.
Do you actually write and submit the bid?
Yes. For procurement engagements we handle response strategy, vendor registration, compliance documentation, and the written bid itself — with you approving before submission.
Do you work with businesses outside Alberta?
Yes. We’re based in Lethbridge, Alberta and advise owner-operators across Canada and North America. Engagements are run remotely with on-site work arranged when a project genuinely requires it.
Can Advisory work alongside Studio or Systems?
Often, yes. Strategy frequently leads to execution — a positioning decision becomes a new website, an operations review becomes an automation. You’re never required to use other divisions, but the option is there when it’s the right move.
